Update the Plugin

Use this workflow when you are replacing the plugin manually with a newer package.

1. Download the latest plugin package.
2. Export important sliders as an extra backup before updating.
3. In WordPress, go to Plugins.
4. Deactivate Zoro Slider.
5. Remove the old plugin version.
6. Reinstall the latest version using the normal installation process.
7. Activate the plugin again.
8. Open the dashboard and confirm your sliders are still present.

Saved slider posts, settings, and structure are stored in WordPress and are not removed by a normal plugin update.

Update optional addons separately from the main plugin. After updating the main plugin or an addon:

1. open Zoro Slider > Addons
2. confirm expected addons are active
3. refresh the Addon Library if remote version or screenshot metadata changed
4. preview a slider that uses addon-provided frontend behavior
