Templates Library

Open Zoro Slider > Templates to browse installed templates and remote templates in one library.

Template Sources

• Installed templates already exist in your WordPress database and can be used immediately.
• Remote templates are catalog items available from the Zoro Slider server.
• Free and Pro identify the template access tier.

Remote and installed status are independent. A card can therefore show Pro, Remote, and Installed together.

Card Badges

Template image badges are grouped by purpose:

• top-left: Free or Pro, plus Remote when the catalog item comes from the server
• bottom-left: Installed, Uninstalled, or Update Available

The installed state is tracked using the stable remote demo ID. Renaming an installed template does not make the same remote template appear uninstalled.

Find a Template

Use the filters to narrow the library by:

• category, such as Hero, Carousel, Fullscreen, Ticker, or Video
• type, including Free, Pro, Installed, and Remote
• item count
• date, priority, or random sorting
• ascending or descending order

Use the search field to match template names and metadata.

Preview and Use Templates

The card preview action opens the template preview without installing another copy.

For an uninstalled remote template:

1. open the card actions
2. choose Import
3. allow the download and import to complete
4. use the installed template to create a slider

For an already installed remote template, the action changes to Use Template. This prevents repeated downloads and duplicate local copies.

Refresh the Library

Use Refresh Template Library after the server catalog or screenshots change.

Refresh clears the relevant WordPress catalog cache and screenshot cache, then requests current metadata from the server. It does not delete installed templates.

Screenshots and Safe Fallbacks

Remote catalog items can include a screenshot and a safe fallback screenshot. If the server reports that the configured screenshot is unavailable, Zoro Slider renders the fallback directly instead of requesting a known-missing URL.

This avoids broken image requests and browser/security-software warnings. If a screenshot was uploaded after the catalog was created, refresh the library after the remote registry has been updated.

Local Template Actions

Installed templates can support:

• edit name
• use template
• clone
• preview
• export
• delete
• bulk selection and deletion

Template exports use _TEMPLATE_ in the filename so they are not confused with slider exports.
