Manual / Builder Slides

Use Manual / Builder Slides when you want to design each slide directly in the builder and control every slide individually.

When to Use It

Choose this source type when:

• every slide needs unique content
• you are building a hero banner, landing-page intro, product promo, or custom presentation
• you do not want the slider to repeat a saved template automatically from posts, JSON, or playlists

Workflow

1. open Slider Settings
2. set Source Type to Manual / Builder Slides
3. save slider settings
4. create slides in the builder
5. set each slide background in Slide Settings
6. add and style layers manually
7. save and preview

How It Differs From Source-Driven Sliders

In this mode:

• the slider does not query posts
• the slider does not fetch JSON
• the slider does not fetch YouTube videos
• placeholders are not required for normal content authoring
• no API keys are required for the source mode itself
