Addons and Licensing

Discover Zoro Slider addons, install protected packages, manage purchase codes, and understand Free and Pro addon access.

Addons and Licensing

Open Zoro Slider > Addons to see installed addons and remote addon catalog items in one place.

Addon Badges

  • Free or Pro identifies the addon tier.
  • Remote means the addon is listed by the Zoro Slider server.
  • Not Installed, Inactive, or Active describes the local WordPress plugin state.

Free and Pro catalog items remain visible before verification so you can review what is available. Download and installation permissions are checked only when you choose to install an addon.

Install an Addon

  1. open the addon card actions
  2. choose Install Addon
  3. Zoro Slider verifies the saved main purchase code when required
  4. Pro addons can additionally require their own purchase code
  5. WordPress downloads and installs the validated ZIP package

Installed addons use Manage in Plugins to open the normal WordPress Plugins screen for activation or deactivation.

License Manager

The Zoro Slider License Manager addon adds a dedicated License Manager submenu after Addons.

Use it to save the main Zoro Slider purchase code. Buyers do not need to create or paste an Envato Personal Token into WordPress. Purchase verification is performed by the controlled Zoro Slider server, which keeps server credentials outside the buyer site.

The License Manager addon is the bootstrap exception: it can be installed before the main purchase code is verified because it is required to enter that code.

Refresh the Addon Library

Use Refresh Addon Library after addon metadata, versions, screenshots, or package availability changes.

Refresh clears stale catalog and screenshot caches before requesting current server data. It does not activate, deactivate, update, or remove installed plugins.

Current Addons

Depending on your package and license, the catalog can include:

  • Export HTML: exports a slider as a standalone HTML bundle
  • Debugger: compares saved DB data and browser localStorage, and provides a copyable system report
  • License Manager: stores the main purchase code and supports protected downloads
  • Modern Nav: adds scoped navigation styles through Zoro Slider hooks

Dev Helper is a development-only addon for fake-license and local-endpoint tests. It is not intended for production buyer sites.

Screenshot Safety

Addon catalog responses can include the configured screenshot, a fallback screenshot, and an availability flag. Zoro Slider uses the fallback directly when the server reports a missing image, avoiding requests to known-missing image files.

External Data

Opening the Addons page can request public catalog metadata from the Zoro Slider server. Installing protected packages sends the saved purchase code and site-identification data required for entitlement checks. See External Services for details.
