Add Layer to a Slide

Once the slide exists, add layers to build the actual composition.

Add a Layer

1. Open the target slider in the builder.
2. Select the slide you want to edit.
3. Open the Add Layer menu.
4. Choose the layer type you need.
5. Place the layer on the canvas.
6. Open Layer Settings.
7. Set the content first, then style and animation.

Common Layer Starting Choices

• Text for plain headings and paragraphs
• Caption for built-in caption styling
• HTML for custom markup
• Shape for cards, blocks, dividers, and overlays
• Button for calls to action
• Icon for highlights or icon-based design
• Image, Audio, and Video for media content

Practical First Composition

1. add a Shape layer as the base
2. add a Caption or Text layer for the title
3. add a second Text layer for supporting content
4. add a Button layer for the action
