Terms of Service
ZoroSlider Terms of Service
Understand the rules and guidelines for using ZoroSlider, including license terms, permitted use, and your rights and responsibilities.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of ZoroSlider websites, documentation, software, templates, add-ons, update services, license services, support services, downloadable files, and related services (collectively, the "Services").
In these Terms, "ZoroSlider", "we", "us", and "our" refer to the owner/operator of ZoroSlider. "Customer", "Buyer", "User", and "you" refer to the person or organization using the Services or purchasing/downloading ZoroSlider products.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website, installing ZoroSlider, purchasing a license, downloading a template, using an add-on, requesting support, or using any related Service, you agree to these Terms and any additional policies referenced here.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Services.
2. Related Documents
These Terms should be read together with:
- ZoroSlider Privacy Policy
- ZoroSlider Legal Information
- ZoroSlider product documentation
- any marketplace license terms where you purchased the product
- any specific license, refund, support, or pricing terms shown at checkout
If you purchase through a third-party marketplace such as CodeCanyon, the marketplace license and purchase rules also apply. If there is a conflict, the marketplace rules apply to marketplace-specific rights and obligations, while these Terms apply to ZoroSlider-operated Services unless prohibited by the marketplace terms.
3. Software License
ZoroSlider is a WordPress plugin. The PHP portions and WordPress-integrated parts are distributed under the GNU General Public License version 2 or later, unless stated otherwise in the applicable product files.
Some bundled assets, libraries, templates, images, icons, JavaScript, CSS, demo content, or third-party components may be governed by their own licenses. These third-party licenses apply to those components.
Purchasing or downloading ZoroSlider does not transfer ownership of the ZoroSlider brand, product identity, templates, documentation, website content, premium services, license systems, or proprietary assets.
4. Permitted Use
Subject to the applicable license, you may:
- install and use ZoroSlider on websites covered by your license
- create sliders, galleries, templates, and visual content for your own site or your client's site
- modify your own slider content, settings, and templates
- use exported slider files in accordance with the feature's intended purpose and applicable license
- transfer a completed client website where the license terms permit that transfer
Each paid license may be limited to a specific number of sites, domains, seats, or installations. Your account, invoice, marketplace purchase page, or license dashboard will define the applicable limits.
5. Prohibited Use
You must not:
- share, publish, resell, lease, rent, sublicense, or distribute a license key except as expressly allowed
- use one single-site license on multiple unrelated websites
- redistribute ZoroSlider, premium templates, add-ons, or downloadable assets as a standalone product
- create a competing slider, animation, page-builder, template-store, or website-builder product by extracting ZoroSlider components
- remove or misrepresent ZoroSlider branding, authorship, copyright notices, or license notices where they are required
- bypass license checks, update checks, template access controls, or premium feature restrictions
- use automated scraping, excessive requests, or abusive download behavior against our servers
- use the Services for unlawful, misleading, infringing, defamatory, abusive, or harmful content
- upload or import files that contain malware, unsafe code, or material you do not have the right to use
6. Accounts, License Keys, and Access Credentials
If ZoroSlider provides accounts, license keys, API keys, buyer verification, or download credentials, you are responsible for keeping them secure.
You are responsible for all activity under your account or license key. If you believe your credentials have been compromised, contact us promptly.
We may suspend, restrict, or disable access if we reasonably believe a license key, account, or Service is being abused, shared publicly, used fraudulently, used beyond the purchased limits, or used in breach of these Terms.
7. Updates
Updates may include bug fixes, security patches, compatibility improvements, new features, changed behavior, or removed/deprecated functionality.
Access to updates may depend on:
- your license type
- the marketplace where you purchased
- whether your support/update period is active
- whether the product is a free, paid, bundled, or add-on version
- whether a major version is included in your plan
We may stop supporting older versions after reasonable notice, except where required by applicable law or by marketplace rules.
8. Support
Support eligibility depends on your license, marketplace purchase rules, and current support period.
Support generally includes:
- guidance on installing and using ZoroSlider
- help with product features documented by ZoroSlider
- help diagnosing bugs in ZoroSlider
- reasonable guidance for compatibility issues
- access to documentation and troubleshooting resources
Support does not normally include:
- custom development
- building sliders for you
- writing custom CSS, PHP, or JavaScript
- fixing unrelated themes, plugins, server issues, malware, or hosting problems
- configuring third-party APIs on your behalf
- support for modified or outdated plugin copies
- guaranteed resolution of conflicts caused by third-party code
We may still provide guidance outside the formal support scope at our discretion.
9. Pricing, Payments, and Renewals
Prices, renewal terms, discounts, and included features may change over time.
If subscriptions or renewals are offered, renewal charges will follow the terms disclosed at checkout or in your account. You may cancel recurring renewals according to the instructions provided by the payment provider or marketplace.
Payment processing may be handled by a third-party marketplace or payment processor. We do not control every part of third-party checkout systems and may not receive or store full payment card details.
10. Refunds
Refund eligibility depends on where you purchased ZoroSlider.
If you purchased through a marketplace, that marketplace's refund policy applies.
If you purchased directly from ZoroSlider, the refund policy shown at checkout or on our refund page applies. Unless a different policy is stated, refund requests may be reviewed based on purchase date, license activation, download history, technical issue details, and misuse prevention.
After a refund, the related license may be disabled, access to updates/support may end, and any recurring renewal may be canceled.
11. Demo Templates, Remote Downloads, and Premium Content
ZoroSlider may offer demo templates, remote template imports, premium templates, add-ons, or downloadable content.
Free templates may be available without a paid license. Pro templates or premium files may require valid buyer verification, license validation, or an active entitlement.
To protect our servers and licensed buyers, we may use caching, duplicate-import prevention, rate limits, anti-abuse checks, and license validation before allowing downloads.
You are responsible for verifying that demo content, images, fonts, videos, links, and placeholders are suitable for your project before publishing them.
12. Third-Party Services and External Content
ZoroSlider can integrate with third-party services when you choose features that require them. Examples may include:
- Google Fonts
- YouTube Playlist source
- JSON import from a configured URL
- Vimeo video embeds
- external image, video, or media URLs
- future add-ons or source integrations
Third-party services operate under their own terms, privacy policies, API limits, and availability rules. We are not responsible for third-party outages, API changes, rate limits, pricing changes, content removals, privacy practices, or account restrictions.
If you use third-party services through ZoroSlider, you are responsible for obtaining any required API keys, permissions, licenses, and user consent.
13. User Content
You remain responsible for content you create, upload, import, embed, or display using ZoroSlider.
You represent that you have the rights needed to use your content, including text, images, videos, audio, fonts, trademarks, names, likenesses, and other materials.
You must not use ZoroSlider to publish content that violates applicable law or infringes the rights of others.
14. Intellectual Property
ZoroSlider websites, product names, logos, documentation, templates, screenshots, marketing materials, UI designs, and proprietary assets are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Except where an open-source license expressly grants rights, no rights are granted beyond the rights necessary to use the Services under these Terms and the applicable license.
15. Warranty Disclaimer
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" to the maximum extent allowed by law.
We do not guarantee that ZoroSlider will be error-free, uninterrupted, compatible with every theme/plugin/browser/server, or suitable for every use case.
We aim to maintain compatibility with supported WordPress and PHP versions, but website environments vary widely and may include conflicts outside our control.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, ZoroSlider and its owners, contributors, suppliers, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, business interruption, reputational harm, or loss caused by third-party services.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability will be limited to the amount you paid for the affected ZoroSlider license or Service during the relevant purchase period, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
17. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold ZoroSlider harmless from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from:
- your use of the Services
- your content
- your breach of these Terms
- your violation of law
- your infringement of third-party rights
- your misuse of license keys, templates, add-ons, or remote services
18. Termination
These Terms remain effective until terminated.
We may suspend or terminate your access to Services if you materially breach these Terms, misuse the Services, violate license limits, attempt to bypass access controls, abuse support/download systems, or use the Services unlawfully.
Upon termination, you must stop using any Services or files for which your rights have ended. Open-source rights that cannot legally be terminated except under their own license terms remain governed by the applicable open-source license.
19. Changes to the Services or Terms
We may update the Services and these Terms from time to time.
The current version will be posted on the ZoroSlider website or included in the relevant documentation. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
