This Privacy Policy explains how ZoroSlider handles personal information through our websites, software, documentation, templates, add-ons, license services, support services, demo import services, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

In this policy, "ZoroSlider", "we", "us", and "our" refer to the owner/operator of ZoroSlider. "You" refers to website visitors, plugin users, customers, buyers, and support requesters.

1. Important Product Privacy Summary

The ZoroSlider WordPress plugin does not send personal data to ZoroSlider by default simply because it is installed.

Some features may contact third-party services or ZoroSlider-operated services only when you choose to use those features. Examples include:

  • loading Google Fonts selected in a slider
  • fetching a YouTube Playlist source
  • fetching a JSON Import URL configured by the site owner
  • loading Vimeo embeds or other media embeds
  • importing remote demo templates
  • validating buyer access for Pro templates or premium downloads
  • checking for updates where a licensed update service is used

Site owners are responsible for informing their own site visitors about external services used in published sliders.

2. Information We May Collect

We may collect information in the following situations.

Information You Provide Directly

This may include:

  • name
  • email address
  • company name
  • billing or tax details where applicable
  • support messages
  • license key or purchase code
  • website URL/domain
  • uploaded screenshots, logs, or diagnostic details you choose to share
  • content submitted through contact forms, account forms, checkout forms, or support channels

Information Collected Automatically On Our Website

Our website or hosting systems may collect technical information such as:

  • IP address
  • browser type and version
  • operating system
  • referrer URL
  • requested pages/files
  • date and time of requests
  • device and connection metadata
  • security and error logs

Information Sent By The Plugin When You Use Remote Features

Depending on the feature used, the plugin may send limited data to ZoroSlider-operated endpoints, such as:

  • plugin version
  • WordPress version
  • site URL
  • admin email, where needed for license or buyer verification
  • buyer email
  • license key or purchase code
  • selected demo/template identifier
  • request metadata generated by WordPress and the hosting environment

These requests are used to provide remote demo catalogs, download protected templates, verify license entitlement, prevent abuse, and deliver requested functionality.

3. How We Use Information

We may use information to:

  • provide the Services
  • process purchases, licenses, renewals, and downloads
  • validate license status and access rights
  • provide support
  • respond to messages and legal requests
  • deliver documentation, updates, notices, and transactional emails
  • prevent fraud, license abuse, excessive downloads, and unauthorized access
  • improve product quality, website reliability, and user experience
  • maintain security logs and diagnose technical issues
  • comply with legal, tax, accounting, and marketplace obligations

We do not sell personal information.

4. Legal Bases For Processing

Where GDPR or similar privacy laws apply, our legal bases may include:

  • performance of a contract, such as delivering purchased products or support
  • legitimate interests, such as security, fraud prevention, license enforcement, and product improvement
  • consent, such as newsletter signups or optional cookies
  • legal obligation, such as tax, accounting, or compliance requirements

5. Cookies And Similar Technologies

Our website may use cookies or similar technologies for:

  • remembering preferences
  • account login and security
  • checkout/session functionality
  • analytics
  • spam prevention
  • support/chat tools, if enabled
  • marketing or newsletter tools, if enabled

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect website functionality.

The ZoroSlider WordPress plugin itself may store local browser data in the WordPress admin builder, such as draft builder state, UI preferences, or temporary preview data. This data is stored in the user's browser or WordPress site environment and is not automatically sent to ZoroSlider unless a remote feature or support workflow requires it.

6. Third-Party Services

ZoroSlider may use or integrate with third-party services. These services have their own privacy policies and terms.

Google Fonts

When a slider uses Google Fonts, the visitor's browser may request font CSS and font files from Google domains such as:

Google may receive standard request metadata such as IP address, user agent, requested font family, and related browser metadata.

YouTube

When a slider uses YouTube Playlist source or embeds YouTube videos, requests may be made to Google/YouTube services such as:

  • https://www.youtube.com/

Data may include playlist IDs, video IDs, API keys configured by the site owner, and standard request/browser metadata.

JSON Import

When a site owner configures a JSON Import source, the WordPress site sends a request to the configured JSON URL.

ZoroSlider does not control the remote JSON endpoint. Site owners should only use trusted endpoints and should disclose the endpoint where required.

Vimeo And Media Embeds

When Vimeo or other media embeds are used, the visitor's browser or server may connect to the relevant media provider. The provider may receive video identifiers and standard request metadata.

Remote Demo Templates

When remote demo templates are fetched or imported, requests may be sent to ZoroSlider servers. These requests may include site URL, plugin version, WordPress version, selected template ID, buyer email, license key, and related request metadata.

This information is used to provide the requested template catalog/download, verify access for Pro content, prevent duplicate or abusive downloads, and protect licensed content.

Payment Providers And Marketplaces

If purchases are handled by a marketplace or payment processor, that provider may process billing and payment information. ZoroSlider may receive limited purchase details needed to provide access, support, and license services, but we do not need to store full payment card details.

  • website URL
  • WordPress/PHP/plugin/theme versions
  • screenshots, logs, exports, or diagnostic information you provide
  • support conversation history

Do not send passwords, private keys, payment card details, or unnecessary personal data. If temporary admin access is ever requested, use a temporary account and remove it after the support case is complete.

8. Data Sharing

We may share information with service providers who help us operate the Services, such as:

  • hosting providers
  • payment processors or marketplaces
  • email providers
  • support desk providers
  • analytics providers
  • security or anti-abuse tools
  • legal, tax, and accounting advisors

We may also disclose information if required by law, court order, marketplace rules, fraud investigation, security incident response, or to protect our rights and users.

9. Data Retention

We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, unless a longer period is required for legal, tax, accounting, security, dispute, or fraud-prevention reasons.

Typical retention categories may include:

  • purchase and invoice records retained for legal/accounting periods
  • support tickets retained for service history and quality control
  • license activation and access logs retained while a license remains active and for a reasonable anti-abuse period
  • server logs retained for security and operational troubleshooting
  • newsletter data retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. However, no website, plugin, server, or transmission method is completely secure.

You are responsible for securing your own WordPress site, admin accounts, license keys, API keys, backups, and hosting environment.

11. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

  • access personal information we hold about you
  • request correction
  • request deletion
  • object to processing
  • restrict processing
  • request data portability

  • complain to a data protection authority

To exercise privacy rights, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before processing a request.

12. Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate action.

13. International Transfers

Depending on where you are located and which providers are used, information may be processed in countries outside your country of residence.

Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as contractual protections, marketplace/provider compliance programs, or other lawful transfer mechanisms.

14. Changes To This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our Services, providers, or legal obligations change. The latest version will be posted on the ZoroSlider website or included in relevant documentation.
